- Developing unit plans for the topics of study for Spanish classes
- Teaching the four skills (reading, speaking, listening and writing) of the Spanish language curriculum
- Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the different ability range within their class
- Preparing and checking student work to facilitate positive student development
- Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
